Here's what I think about the Falcons...Let me know your thoughts too.

The season starts tonight. We've got a few more days to get ready for the Falcons, but I know we will be good to go. Follow the link for a few more of my thoughts on my Sportsbuzz page.

Some thoughts on the third preseason game.

It's like the full dress rehearsal going into the year. You're going to play the majority of the game, be in all the regular season situations ( two minute drill, coming out of the halftime, etc.) so it's the closest to regular season during the preseason.

While some teams have had to learn alot in a short time this year (due to the lockout) because our coaching staff was consistent and most of our players on defense have been around here, it's more like coming off a short week during the season. We haven't had to learn anything crazy and we are confident in each other, we know each other and know where we will be on any given play.

My goal is to get that mental focus point before the game, get the body right and warmed up correctly. Anything you would do before a season opener is what I hope to do before this third preseason game.
