SportsBUZZ is a place where athletes can communicate directly with their fans in a very personal way without suffering through spin so often put on what they share by traditional sports media.  

For fans, SportsBUZZ is a source of interesting, behind-the-scenes information from athletes--videos, candid photos, interactive Twitter-like mobile phone posts, and the like. The kind of inside access you can't get anywhere else.

As a fan, you can join SportsBUZZ from different parts of the website.

1.) On the home page, fill out the "Register to get your FREE SportsBUZZ account!", validate your e-mail address, and login.

2.) Click  the "Join Now" tab at the top of each page, complete the "Registration" page, validate your e-mail address, and login.

3.) From an individual BUZZ page, fill out the pop-up form, validate your e-mail address, and login.

Athletes should have either themselves or their agent/marketing representative call us directly at 800-SPORTSBUZZ or email us at info@sports.buzz.com.  One of our athlete representatives will get back to you promptly.

On SportsBUZZ, every athlete and team represented has their very own public page.

You can get to an athlete's public page one of two ways.

1.) Every BUZZ by an athlete includes a profile picture and hyperlinked name. If you click either of these, you will be taken to that athlete's public page.

2.) On your "My Athletes" link or "Athletes" tab, every athlete's name is a link. Click on the hyperlinked name and you'll be taken to that athlete's public page.

You can get to a team's public page in the exact same way. Most BUZZes are assigned a hyperlinked team name and the "My Athletes" link also has team name links to public team pages.

If you forget your username, click the "Sign In" link, select "Forgot your username?", enter your e-mail address on file with SportsBUZZ, and we will send you an e-mail with your SportsBUZZ username.

If you forget your password, click the "Sign In" link, select "Forgot your password?", enter your e-mail address on file with SportsBUZZ, and we will send you an e-mail to reset your SportsBUZZ password.

From any page on the SportsBUZZ website you can Sign On by clicking the gray button labeled "Sign On" which appears in the upper right corner of the page.

You can also Sign On by going to the Site Map at the bottom of each page and selecting Login under My Account.

Once you're signed on, you will automatically be signed off if you close your browser.  However, if you wish to sign off while your browser is still open simply click the "SIGN OUT" option next to your "Hello, Name" on your BUZZ Feed page.

To follow athletes, you must be a SportsBUZZ member.

As a first time member, your BUZZ Feed will inform you that you are not yet following any athletes on SportsBUZZ. Click the provided link to select the athletes you want to follow.

You can also click the "My Athletes" link or "Athletes" tab and check / uncheck the athletes you want to follow / unfollow.

To send Fan Mail to an athlete, go to the "Fan Mail" link on your BUZZ Feed, click the "Select a Recipient" drop down box, pick an athlete, and post a message. You can then attach a video, photo, or audio clip to your message by using the multimedia icons.

You can also send a Fan Mail by going to an athlete's public page and clicking the "Fan Mail" box.

The "My Comments" panel keeps track of every comment you make on SportsBUZZ. When you make a new comment, the BUZZ you commented on moves to the top of your "My Comments" panel.

Additionally, any time an athlete or another fan leaves a comment on a BUZZ you commented on, the BUZZ moves to the top of your "My Comments" panel and the "New Comments" button turns grey with the # of new comments.

To add a profile picture, go to the "Profile" link on your BUZZ Feed, upload a profile picture, and hit save.

As an athlete, you can connect your Twitter account with your SportsBUZZ account so that anytime you post a BUZZ on SportsBUZZ it appears as a Tweet on Twitter, and vice-versa.

To do this, go to the "Social Networks" link on your BUZZ Feed, click enable Twitter integration, and enter your Twitter username and password to connect your accounts. If you wish to disconnect your accounts, simply click disable.

You can download our smartphone applications from the "Profile" link on your BUZZ Feed by clicking on iPhone, Android, or Blackberry and pressing the download link.

There are two ways to control your e-mail and smartphone push notifications.

1.) You can control your notifications by selecting "Change your notifications options" on any e-mails you receive from SportsBUZZ. Then, check or uncheck the e-mail and smartphone push notification boxes.

2.) You can control your notifications from your BUZZ Feed by selecting the "Notice Options" link. Then, check or uncheck the e-mail and smartphone push notification boxes.
