Ireland have batted extremely well in their first innings and have posted a massive score of 300-9 against the black caps. Harry Tector reached his maiden century

Ireland scored a massive 300 runs against New Zealand in their first ODI. Both the openers got out early and it was up to the middle and the latter order to save the Irish and help put up a fighting total n the board. Harry Tector was the star man for Ireland, scoring 113 runs off 117 deliveries with 14 fours and 3 sixes. Andy McBrine and Curtis Campher also batted well and added useful runs for their side. While McBrine scored 39 off 58, Campher scored 43 runs off 47 deliveries.

Simi Singh ended the innings in style by smashing 30 runs off just 19 deliveries.Lockie Ferguson, Blair Tickner, and Ish Sodhi, all took 2 wickets each, and Matt Henry and Glenn Phillips took 1 wicket each.  Now New Zealand have their work cut out for them as they need to chase a massive score with many of their star players out of the side.Ireland have posted a massive total of 300-9 and it would be interesting to see how New Zealand plays to try and chase down the score.
