Netherlands vs Pakistan 2nd ODI: Netherlands all out at 186, Pakistan need 187 to clinch match and series

The 2nd ODI clash between Netherlands and Pakistan got underway today with the Dutchmen getting all out at 186

Pakistan’s bowling department, especially Mohammed Nawaz, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf, were on fire in the first innings. Shah grabbed 2 wickets, Rauf clinched as many as 3 wickets, and Nawaz also got 3 important wickets under his belt to restrict the Netherlands to an insufficient 186 in the first innings.

Pakistan are currently leading the 3-match ODI series by 1-0, and a win today will guarantee them a series victory against the Dutchmen on their home soil. However, we cannot go on without commending Bas de Leede for his outstanding performance as his 89-run knock-off 120 balls at a strike rate of 74.17 helped the Netherlands get to at least 186 after 44.1 overs. Along with de Leede, Tom Cooper’s innings of 66 off 74 balls, which saw him hit some big shots at a strike rate of 89.19 is certainly worth praising.

But Pakistan’s bowlers proved to be far too superior for the hosts as they were bowled out for just 186. So here’s taking a look at the playing XI of Netherlands and Pakistan for their ongoing 2nd ODI clash:

Netherlands vs Pakistan playing XI:

Netherlands: Vikramjit Singh, Max ODowd, Wesley Barresi, Bas de Leede, Tom Cooper, Scott Edwards(w/c), Teja Nidamanuru, Logan van Beek, Tim Pringle, Aryan Dutt, Vivian Kingma

Pakistan: Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam(c), Mohammad Rizwan(w), Agha Salman, Khushdil Shah, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah
