Chennai Super Kings v Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai (night), T20. Cup Netherlands vs England 3rd ODI | England win by 8 wickets

The series between Netherlands and England is done and dusted, and England has completed their clean sweep. The England side have beaten Netherlands 3-0 in a 3-match series and have convincingly established its dominance over the Dutch and in white-ball cricket.

The first ODI had England make the highest ever ODI total in the history of the game and the Netherlands were nowhere near the total. The second ODI had a fairly average score, but England won the match nonetheless. The third and final ODI saw England chase down a target of 245 in just 30 overs.

That's correct! England scored 248 runs in 30.1 overs, with 19.5 overs to spare and the loss of just 2 wickets. Jason Roy top-scored for England with 101 off 86 deliveries with a whopping 15 fours. Phil Salt complemented him well, made a well-fought 49 off 30 deliveries with 9 fours, and just missed out on his half-century.

Edwards and O'Dowd top scored for the Dutch side scoring 64 and 50, respectively. David Willey was the pick of the bowlers for the English side and took 4 wickets giving away 36 runs in 8.2 overs. Jos Buttler continued his red hot form and scored a quickfire 86 off 64 deliveries with 8 fours and 6 sixes.

The best bowler for the Dutch side was Paul van Meekeren who took 2 wickets giving away 59 runs in 7 overs.

England chased down the target quite comfortably and have had a clean sweep this series. Off to the next series! Adios!
