These 3 players are the future of Indian cricket team

These players are in their early twenties and already became big names in cricket

Shubman Gill is playing his best shot

India are the only side that is in the top 3 in all forms of games right now. The present is looking pleasant for Indian cricket as India have plenty of players who have been grinding to make India proud. But after 2-3 years down the line 4 to 5 main players will be retiring so it is very important to groom young talent in the meantime.

A few players have already been around the Indian team and a few are doing fantastic work in the domestic circuit. Because they are in their early twenties, taking care of these players is absolutely essential as two players have already made a big mistake early in their careers.

Let's go ahead and read more about the players who have at least 10-year full-fledged careers in International cricket.

Yashasvi Jaiswal-

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been phenomenal in domestic cricket as he hit two double centuries in the recently, concluded Duleep Trophy in 2022. He is just 20 years old and already showed his talent to the world.

He is the part of IPL team Rajasthan Royal as an opener. In the IPL he scored 547 runs in 23 matches with a strike rate of 134.73.

Moreover, he is part of the U19 team that won the U19 World Cup recently under the captaincy of Priyam Garg. Though Priyam is also the name that is being pop-up from time to time he needs to be more consistent.

Shubhman Gill-

A young Punjabi guy who keeps on working on his consistency and hit back-to-back good performances for his representative team is one of the players to watch out for.

Shubman Gill has played 11 Test matches and 9 ODI matches in India colours. He is still waiting for his turn in the T20I jersey. In the biggest T20 league IPL, he played 74 matches and hit 1900 runs already. So there is no doubt about his ability in T20 cricket. So wait for his time to show the world what he is capable of.

Prithvi Shaw-

Another Under-19 winning team captain who's always in talks because of his ability to hit any given opponent. He is compared with the legendary Virendra Sehwag because of his capability to hit boundaries in gaps continuously.

He has played 5 Test matches for men in blue. Interestingly, he already hit 2 half-centuries and a ton in Test cricket. He has also represented India in ODIs and T20I as well.

In IPL, he has played 63 matches and hit 1588 runs with a strike rate of a massive 147.45. He is still looking for a ton in the IPL. However, he hit 5 half-centuries in this league.

He missed the opportunity to hit a century in IPL as he hit 99 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2019. Hope we will see a ton in the IPL in his bat in order to cement his position in blue colour.
