The 2022 T20 World Cup gets set to commence from the 16th of October in Australia with Sri Lanka taking on Namibia in the tournament opener. India’s first match of the tournament will see them lock horns with arch-rivals Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 23rd October.

1. 71* vs Australia, 2022 and 4/33 vs England, 2022
Batting- Hardik’s best batting performance came very recently during Australia’s tour of India in a 3-match T20I series. The 1st T20I match saw Hardik put up a splendid unbeaten 71-run knock to help India put up a massive total of 209 for Australia to chase.
Bowling- Hardik’s best bowling figures of 4/33 also came in the year 2022 in a match against England on 7th July. His innings saw him win the Player of the Match award as well.
2. 51 vs England, 2022 and 4/38 vs England, 2018
Batting- Hardik’s second best batting performance came in a T20I match against England in 2022 in which he smashed a 51 off 33 balls to guide India to a 50-runs victory.
Bowling- Hardik’s second best bowling figures of 4/38 came against England back in 2018 at the County Ground (Bristol). Hardik’s figures helped India clinch a 7-wicket victory in that match.
3. 46 vs South Africa, 2022 and 3/8 vs Pakistan, 2016
Batting- In the 4th T20I clash of the 5-match series against South Africa in June, Pandya smashed a 46-run knock off 31 balls at a strike rate of 148.39. That was his 3rd best knock in T20Is. India also won that match by 82 runs.
Bowling- Hardik’s 3rd best T20I bowling figures of 3/8 came during the 2016 Asia Cup in a clash against arch-rivals Pakistan. That match was won by India by 5 wickets and Virat Kohli clinched the Player of the Match award in the same match.
