As per the latest Cricket updates, The World Test Championship final is set to begin once again after one day, as the world's two most powerful cricketing nations, India and Australia, will lock horns for the shining trophy of the WTC final at the Oval in England on Wednesday at 3:00 pm IST.
This battle between Pat Cummins' team and Rohit Sharma's team will undoubtedly be entertaining to watch. Whether the Men in Blue will be able to win the WTC championship after losing it to New Zealand in 2021.
In the updates of WTC 2023, A former Indian commentator and well-known cricket expert has shared a video through his official YouTube channel where he addressed the upcoming World Test Championship final, and Mr. Chopra has also made a combined 11 from the whole country that is taking part in the WTC 2021-23.
Opening pair: Usman Khawaja and Dimuth Karunaratne
Usman Khawaja, who was the leading scorer in the recent Border Gavaskar Trophy, and Dimuth Karunaratne, the pillar of Sri Lanka's batting department, will be the opening pair of Aakash Chopra’s combined XI as both batsmen are played massively in test matches. Usman Khawaja has taken part in nine matches during the World Test Championship season 2021–23 and has scored 1066 runs with a phenomenal average of 82. However, Dimuth Karunaratne has participated in 10 matches and scored 847 runs with an average of 47.
Marnus Labuschange at number 3
Aakash Chopra believes that there are several players around the world who play well at number 3, such as Cheteshwar Pujara and many others. However, Mr.Chopra kept Marnus Labuschange at number 3, as Labuschange had played 12 test matches during the World Test Championship's two-year cycle and had scored 1156 runs with an amazing average of 61.

Numbers 4 and 5 were occupied by English batsman
Joe Root will be at 4th, as he participated in 21 matches and has scored 1915 runs with an average of 55. However, Jonny Bairstow will be at number 5 for his 1285 runs in just 15 matches with a superb strike rate of 51.

WTC 2023: Rishabh Pant will be the wicketkeeper and batsman
Rishabh Pant, an Indian young player who has missed many international matches and the 16th IPL season as well, where he was the captain of the Delhi Capitals due to his car accident, has played in 11 matches in the cycle of WTC 2021–23, and he has scored 766 runs along with a century against South Africa, with a strike rate of 39.
