On Friday, March 17 at 1:30 IST, the opening game of a three-match One Day International (ODI) series was played in Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium between Australia and India.
Captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Superb bowling by Indian bowlers saw Mohammed Shami take three crucial wickets for just 17 runs over the course of his whole period, while Mohammed Siraj took three wickets for 29 runs.

Left-arm off-spinner Ravindra Jadeja claimed two wickets, while Kuldeep Yadav also claimed one.
Australia could not even play their full overs due to India’s bowling performance, but Mitchell March's brilliant innings of 85 runs in 91 balls helped Australia score 188 runs in 36 overs.
Middle-order batsman and wicket keeper KL Rahul, who has been battling a slump in form for some time, played a fantastic inning of 75* runs off 91 balls at a strike rate of 82.42 . KL Rahul went out all guns blazing with the bat in the 1st ODI and India easily defeated Australia in 40 overs.
