Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore locked horns in the 60th match of the Indian Premier League at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Rajasthan at 3:30 pm IST. Both sides met for the second time this IPL season, with RCB beating RR by seven runs in the first match. In this match, RCB batted first, setting up a target of 171 runs for Rajasthan Royals to chase. 

The match concluded with RCB winning the game by an immense margin of 112 runs as RR was restricted to 59 runs for the loss of their all wickets within 10.3 overs. Shimron Hetmyer scored the highest number of runs for RR. (35 runs off 19 balls)

In the latest updates of IPL News 2023, famed cricket analyst and former cricketer Aakash Chopra has recently shared a video through his official YouTube channel in which he discussed the match between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore in depth. Mr. Chopra started this video by saying, “E saal cup namde wala kam kar diya hain bhaiya Bangalore ne.”

In this IPL season, Royal Challengers Bangalore was defeated by the Kolkata Knight Riders by a massive margin of 81 runs. However, in this match, RCB beat the Rajasthan Royals by the highest run margin of this season, i.e. 112 runs. Aakash Chopra believes that RCB has done wonders.

In this match, Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, and youngster Anuj Rawat displayed outstanding performances. Anuj Rawat scored 29 runs off just 11 deliveries with three boundaries and two sixes, whereas the skipper, Faf du Plessis, smashed 55 runs off 44 balls, and Glenn Maxwell played an incredible innings of 54 runs off 33 balls. During his innings, Maxwell hit three sixes and five fours, showcasing his exceptional batting skills. His contribution played a significant role in the team's success in the match.

Mr. Chopra picked Glenn Maxwell as the most valuable player of the match for his aggressive innings and said that,

“It seemed to me that if Maxwell's innings did not come, then runs would not have been scored, and if runs would not have been scored, then you would not have won.”

Aakash Chopra believes that Sanju Samson got out after hitting the wrong shot. Mr. Chopra also noted that the Rajasthan Royals had not done anything in this match. As for now, after losing by a margin of 112 runs, they have brought down the net run rate.
