Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians will clash for the IPL 2023 final spot at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat at 7:30 pm IST. Chennai Super Kings have already reached the final, and that too for a record 10th time. Gujarat Titans lost the 1st qualifier against Chennai Super Kings, while Mumbai Indians defeated Lucknow Super Giants by a total of 81 runs last night to make it to Qualifier 2. Qualifier 2 will now be played between GT and MI on 26th May, 2023.

Gujarat Titans took on 4-time champs Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium for Qualifier 1 on Tuesday, 23rd May. The Titans lost the match as CSK restricted the defending champs to a score of 157 as the Hardik Pandya side lost all of their wickets within the 20 overs of the 2nd innings.

Without further ado, here’s taking a look at the head-to-head record of GT and MI in IPL history.

GT vs MI: Head-to-Head Record In IPL

Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians have faced each other a total of 3 times so far in IPL history. Out of those 3 times, MI have won on two occasions, whereas defending champions Gujarat Titans have won just once. Hence, MI have a better head-to-head record against GT which currently stands at 2-1.

GT and MI will now lock horns for the 4th time in the cash-rich league for the 2nd qualifier of IPL 2023. GT’s highest score against MI is that of a 207, whereas MI’s highest score against GT has been that of a 218. GT’s lowest total against MI has been a score of 152, whereas MI’s lowest score against GT has been that of a 172.

What now remains to be seen is whether GT can make their record against MI better in the IPL tomorrow night or not.
